Las relaciones económicas y comerciales entre España y Rumania han visto un aumento sustancial desde el 2003. En el 2007, la inversión directa española alcanzaba unos 474 millones euros, representando el 3.4% de las inversiones totales en Rumania. October 2009 - From the Print Edition
En cuanto al capital social, hasta el mes de Abril del 2009, las sociedades españolas invirtieron en Rumania mas de 800 millones euros, catalogándose octavo en término de capital invertido.
