China deals with local market challenges
Despite their different cultural background, Chinese businesses are no different than any other and talk the same language of profit and performance. Investments by Chinese companies in Romania registered a peak two years ago, having doubled in value on 2009, but the last two years have seen the pain of the local economy extend to their Romanian business. The luckiest just reported smaller turnovers, while some companies, especially those based on imports of Chinese brands, faced insolvency.
