Skanska starts constructing office complex

Swedish group Skanska started the construction of Green Court office complex in Bucharest and will invest EUR 46 million in the first phase, which consists of a 19,500-sqm building and an underground parking lot for the first two buildings of the project, according to wall-street.ro. The Green Court Bucharest project consists of three class A office buildings with a total rental area of 52,000 sqm. Each building will have 12 floors above ground and three underground. "We think Bucharest is an important market for us," said Andreas Lindelof, president of Skanska Romania. "Here we see great potential and we have long-term plans. We have already received inquiries from potential clients." The entire Skanska project is estimated to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2014.
