Unemployment is seeing a major upswing for the first time in Romania since 2000 to 5.3 per cent, a total of 477,860 people. But while the Minister of Labour Marian Sarbu predicts up to 11 per cent figure for the end of 2009, the real number of jobless in Romania remains a mystery.
