Vola.ro ranks first in Deloitte's CE Technology Fast 50
Local online tour company Vola.ro was ranked in first place for the third time in a row in the Deloitte Central Europe Technology FAST 50 study, where the fastest-growing technology companies in the region are ranked based on the growth rate of their revenues over the last five years (2008-2012) 2013-11-24 15:27:53 - From the Print Edition
The top three consists of Vola.ro with a revenue growth rate of 5,729 percent, Bitgear Wireless Design Services with 1,872 percent (Serbia) and Softhis with 1,573 percent (Poland). "This is a confirmation that what we have done in recent years has paid off," said Daniel Truica, managing partner at Vola.ro. "Our intention is to continue to expand internationally. After the successful deployment of our business in Vietnam, we are continuing to study emerging and frontier markets which will grow at a fast pace in the coming years."
Present in Romania since 2004 with a current 35 percent market share, the company also operates in Poland, Ukraine and Vietnam and plans to expand the business next year in at least one Asian emerging market. "We have an allocated budget of EUR 1.5 million for 2014, in order to expand our business in at least one market, if not two in Asia," said Truica. "We are looking at Indonesia and even Thailand."
Aside from Vola.ro, Romania is present with other five local companies in the ranking: TeamNet International (no.17), Crys Computers (no.26), SmartTel (no.37), Fortech (no.38) and Ingenio Software (no.43).
