Give a new life social event supports the children of Concordia

Concordia non-profit organization and the Grand, the association of Hotelier Companies announce the happening of Give a new life event next Thursday, December 12, at Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, Constanta hall. The event is dedicated to underprivileged and stray children supported by Concordia organization.

The event will be hosted by Andreea Esca and it will enjoy the presence and recital of Nicolae Voiculet, the panpipe-virtuoso. Also, the event will host a selling exhibition where the invited guests and public will be able to purchase handmade products created by the children of Concordia, besides breading products cooked in the bakery owned by the NGO.

In order to support the children at Concordia, the event will host an auction for 2 New Year Eve tickets "Fete a porter", organized by JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, a Sunday Bruch voucher for two at JW Stakehouse and one year subscription to World Class Health Academy Romania. Also, the auction will submit design luxury products of Rosenthal by My House-The Art of Living, jewelry of Roberto Cavalli, Valentino and Thea Haimovitz or gadgets such as headphones B&O Play of Bang&Olufsen. Also, the flagship of the auction is represented by a Mediterranean cruise of 11 nights, offered by travel operator Bonaventura.

In 2011, the organizers of "Give a new life" event raised EUR 12.525 and in 2012, at the event second edition, some EUR 16.850 have been gathered in the benefit of Concordia-supported children. In the framework of street work, social centres and the club Concordia take care of 500 street children, those searching for help, and former charges. Through their soup kitchens and social centers, 5000 people in the Republic Moldova receive a warm meal every day. Today, approximately 1000 children live in the homes and group flats from Concordia in Romania, the Republic Moldova and Bulgaria.
