Netopia mobilPay announces card processed transactions of EUR 76 million in 2013

Netopia mobilPay, local leader in micropayments mobile phone and one of the largest online payment processors, announced it processed last yearmore than 2.2 million online credit card transactions, with a total value reaching EUR 76 million.

Regarding the average transaction, this amount is around EUR 37, the company announced. According to Antonio Eram, CEO and founder of Netopia mobilPay, the company processed one third of the total online transactions recorded in 2013.

Some of these transactions exceeded EUR 7.000, the manager stated. For 2014, the manager estimates that online payments by card will increase 20 percent to reach over 8.5 million trasactions, with a total value between EUR 350-370 million.
