ALD launches the eco-friendly driving programme with Titi Aur
The company and the defensive driving school run by Titi Aur announced the launch of the eco-friendly driving program. The initiative comes as a result of the EU studies indicating that transportation is accountable for 20 per cent of the overall CO2 emissions, second largest in Europe, after energy industry, with 31 per cent of the total CO2 emission volume. 2014-05-20 10:50:40
In a European ranking taking into account the emission volumes and published by US-based Energy Information Administration (EIA), Romania ranks 28th, with an yearly volume of 86 million tones.
The volumes are beat by countries such as Slovakia, with 34 million tones per year, Switzerland with 43 million tones, Denmark with 46 million tones, Norway woth 45 million tones and Hungary with 49 million tones.
The ALD Automotive program is part of ALD bluefleet international program and the sessions include defensive driving with introduction into eco-friendly driving at different difficulty stages. The school run by Titi Aur has a team of 12 driving instructors and so far it instructed over 25.000 drivers. The information on this program may be found here: www.ald-condusdefensiv.ro
