German retailer Lidl opened in late July a new unit in Targu Neamt, in Eastern Romania, reaching 176 units across the country. Since the beginning of this year, the retailer opened seven units in Iasi, Arad, Bucharest, Popesti Leordeni, Craiova, Timisoara, Targu Mures and Drobeta Turnu Severin. For this year, Lidl plans to open 15 units.
