Lumina Institutii de Invatamant to build a modern school campus in Bucharest at 20 years celebration
Lumina Institutii de invatamant celebrates 20 years of activity and it started to build a new school campus in Bucharest to host several hundreds of scholars starting 2015, the institution announced. 2014-11-04 16:27:04
The greenfield investment will have, besides classes and laboratories, also sport fields, libraries, ceremony halls, meal spaces, its own kitchen and several other facilities, according to a press release of the company.
Lumina Institutii de Invatamant started in 1994 at Constanta, when it formed the International Informatics High school (ICHB). Also, in 1996, the institution founded The International School Bucharest (ISB). In 2003, at Constanta and Bucharest, the basis of the future Spectrum Schools have been laid. In 1997, the institution established the national mathematics competition LuminaMath while in 2003, it formed the informatics projects competition InfoMatrix.
Within the 20 years, the graduates and students formed within these schools have won over 500 medals to specific educational competitions, according to data provided by the institution.
