Agricover Credit IFN granted credits with 30 per cent more in 2014
Agricover Credit IFN, the non-banking financial arm of agriculture company Agricover announced a 30 per cent increase of credits in 2014, for an operational profit 37 per cent larger compared to previous year, of 22 million lei. 2015-02-24 14:27:43
The financial institution has a portfolio of 1.550 active clients, a press release informs. According to Robert Rekkers, the general manager of Agricover Credit IFN, the Romanian farmers have to be competitive both on local and international markets. " In order to do so, the Romanian agriculture needs investments for modernization, productivity boost and operational efficiency. Things to be also improved are the risk management and the optimization of production," Rekkers mentioned.
For 2015, Agricover plans to develop the product portfolio in the field of credits for work capital with instant grant and credits for investments. It also plans to secure several partnerships with technology suppliers in the agriculture in order to offer attractive credits for farmers for investments in technology.
