Electrica reports consolidated net profit increased by 59 per cent in 2014
Electrica Group, leader in the distribution and supply of electricity in Romania, registered in 2014 a consolidated net profit of 401.4 million lei which represents an increase of 149 million LEI, respectively by 59 per cent compared to 2013, excluding transferred minority interests. 2015-03-30 13:52:04
The operational profit in 2014 was 497 million lei, 44 per cent higher than in 2013.During the period, the revenues amounted to 5,220 million lei, representing a decrease of 291 million lei, respectively 5 per cent compared to 2013.In the same period, Electrica Group managed to decrease the operational expenses by 9 per cent, respectively to 4.723 million lei.
Electrica's SA Board of Directors proposed the distribution of gross dividends amounting to 0.7217 lei per share, for the financial year ended December 31 2014. The proposal will be submitted to the General Meeting of Shareholders for approval on April 27th 2015
The amount of the gross dividends due to shareholders (244,7 million lei) has been determined as a percentage of at least 85 per cent of the consolidated net profit, as stated in the Offering Prospectus, the company announced.
