60 million Euro mall opens its doors in Brasov

Coresi Shopping Resort mall, developed by French company Immochan in Brasov, was inaugurated in late March following an investment of 60 million Euro, according to Adevarul. The shopping centre is located on the platform of former factory ‘Tractorul' and covers an area of 32,000 sqm. It has an Auchan hypermarket of 13,300 sqm and another 130 stores of renowned companies such as H&M, iStyle, Apple Premium Reseller, Zara, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Oysho, Mim, Kenvelo, Tom Taylor, Time Out, Lee Cooper, Brioche Doree, Flanco, Decimas, Sabrini, Yves Rocher, MOA, Arsis-Vodafone, Inmedio and Sensiblu. Furthermore, the mall has 2,400 parking spaces and a green area of 24,000 sqm. Coresi Shopping Resort also counts eight cinemas and an event centre which will host concerts and theatre performances. "Brasov's Coresi aims to become a tourist attraction and not just a place where you can shop," said Tatian Diaconu, Immochan Romania director, quoted by Adevarul. "An example of this aspect is the central area of the project, which will host on an area of 1,500 sqm for a fun space where both children and parents will be able to spend time in an active way. Within the centre one can find other attractions, such as the four squares that will bear distinct names, where visitors can spend time pleasantly. Moreover, each of these squares will have a defining point of recreation. For example, one of them will be dedicated to events such concerts or theatre plays," he added.
