TIFF 2015 at start
The largest film festival in Romania starts today at Cluj, with the 14th edition, the festival official website reads. 2015-05-29 13:50:15
The official opening of tonight is followed by the national premiere of Povesti traznite-Wild Tales, directed by Damian Szifron and nominated this year to Oscars. The movie is produced by Pedro Almodovar and will be distributed in cinemas starting June 12.
Until June 7, the festival will feature 223 productions from 60 countries and over 800 invited Romanian personalities are expected. In the first weekend, Tiff moves within Students Campus Hasdeu, offering free pass and featuring concerts, parties and open air movies. The qeekend starts with productions such as: The Toasters, RotFront, GOLAN and ROA. In the last day, the stage is taken by alternative rock of Fantome, AFO (Aforic), CTC. Also, the featured movie list includes: Dyke Hard, Wild Tales and Dessau Dancers. On 30 and 31 of May, the festival moveas at Banffy Castle , featuring one of the long-awaited documentaries of this year: Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, directed by Brett Morgan, among other happenings.
