The association Aktor - Euro Construct will complete the motorway Bucharest-Ploiesti with 130 million lei contract

The Romanian National Company of Motorways and National Roads (CNADNR) assigned the construction of the first 3.3 km of motorway linking Bucharest and Ploiesti following a contract of 129.18 million lei except VAT, the company announced.

The contract is due 70 months, out of which 4 months are assigned to design, 18 months represents the construction and 48 months stands for the construction guarantee period. The public acquisition procedure for the assignment of this contract has been initiated on May 19 and included the segment comprised in the Bucharest-Brasov motorway, representing the 3 km segment of Bucharest-Ploiesti segment, besides workings at Bucharest ring and Moara Vlasiei. Also, according to CNADNR, some 6.5 km between Petricani roadway and Bucharest ring is still not open to traffic. The national road company terminated the contract with the Italian construction company Pizzarotti that built 3.2 km out of the 6.5 km included in the contract. So far, around 56 km from Bucharest –Ploiesti motorway have been opened to traffic three years ago.
