Continental Anvelope completed the olfactory emissions treatment station at Timisoara
Continental Anvelope Timisoara, part of German auto group Continental, has completed a 10.5 million worth investment for the olfactory emissions decrease technologies at Timisoara. 2015-12-18 17:11:30
The technical solutions representing an olfactory emission treatment system has been tested since December 2013, according to Nikolai Setzer, the manager of Tires division and member of Continental board. Continental operates at Timisoara for almost 15 years and invested so far more than 370 million Euro, creating over 2.300 workplaces. Also, the plant at Timisoara delivered over 150 million tires to clients in Europe and worldwide.
By the end of 2014, Continental invested over 1 billion Euro in Romania through its five divisions represented locally though seven production units, three research centers located at Timisoara, Sibiu, Carei, Nadab, Brasov and Iasi. At the end of last year, Continental had 15.000 workers and plans to hire 1.500 professionals during this year.
