Over 31 million Euro from the European Structural and Investment Funds for the rehabilitation of a national road
The European Commission adopted a major project which will co-finance the rehabilitation of the road connections Targu Mures-Reghin and Reghin-Saratel, part of National Road 15 and 15A with over 31 million Euro from the European Regional Development Fund. 2016-05-25 11:26:05
The European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Corina Cretu, declared: "This project is yet another example of the major interest that the Commission has for the modernisation and development of transport infrastructure in Romania. Through the rehabilitation of roads that connect important cities in the Mures and Bistrita Nasaud counties, better road connectivity is ensured in the center of the country, as well as the conditions for a safer and faster transport."
This project is cofinanced through the Transport Operational Programme in Romania under the priority Axis 2 "Modernization and development of TEN-T priority axes aiming at sustainable transport system integrated with EU transport networks" for the period 2007-2013.
