New hotels defy crisis for long-term view
Despite a climate of room over-supply and price-dumping in Romania, new hotels keep opening and developers vision an upswing in demand. Report by Corina Ilie and Michael Bird December 2009 - From the Print Edition
A new wave of apart-hotels and hotels are set for Romania as developers plan for the long-term development of the country as a business and leisure destination.
However many projects from international brands are on hold or delayed, due to a cash supply crisis, and no developers expect a massive upswing in business for the next year.
