Dentons advises CPI Property Group on CEE retail portfolio acquisition
Dentons advised CPI Property Group on the acquisition of a portfolio of 11 retail properties from CBRE Global Investors, including six major regional shopping centres, in Romania, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, a press release shows. 2017-01-19 09:51:46
The completion of the transaction is expected in the first quarter of 2017, pending regulatory approvals in the Czech Republic and Hungary. The portfolio, with a total leasable area of approximately 265 thousand sqm, consists of the Felicia shopping centre in Romania; Olympia Plzen shopping centre and Retail Park, Nisa shopping centre and Zlaty Andel in the Czech Republic; the Andrassy Complex, Polus shopping centre, Campona shopping centre and two Interspar retail warehouses in Hungary; and the Ogrody shopping centre in Poland.
Evan Lazar, co-chairman of the Dentons Global Real Estate Group coordinated the project. The Romanian team was led by partners Perry Zizzi and Bogdan Papandopol.
