Vodafone Romania has the fastest mobile network for 4G technology, according to Ookla's Speedtest data during 2017

Vodafone Romania is the fastest mobile network in the country for 4G technology, according to tests performed by Romanian users over 4G, 4G+ and 4.5G connections (LTE) in 2017 using Speedtest by Ookla, worldwide leader in internet testing and analysis.

The results of over 1.15 million tests performed by Romanian mobile users during January-December 2017 show that Vodafone Romania's LTE network provides the highest average download and upload speeds, as well as the lowest average latency.

"This recognition is very important for us, as it is an indicator of our mobile network's performance from the customer point of view, giving us an overall picture on the quality of the services we provide. It proves us that our customers benefit from the best 4G experience in Romania, which allows them to enjoy mobile entertainment and stay connected anytime and anywhere", said Catalin Buliga, Technology Director, Vodafone Romania.

Speedtest Intelligence data collected through the tests results conducted by users over LTE connections between January and December 2017 shows Vodafone Romania maintaining a winning performance, with average national upload speeds at least 12 per cent higher and download speeds almost 7% higher than all the other mobile telecom providers on the market.
