Vastint leases 1,700 sqm at Timpuri Noi Square to Zitec

Vastint Romania has leased 1,700 sqm of office space to Zitec, in the mixed-use development project at Timpuri Noi Square in Bucharest.

2018-04-04 11:28:22

Leading IT market in Romania, with offices in Bucharest and Brasov, Zitec specializes in the development of custom business solutions, customized services and products, as well as digital marketing services.

The Romanian company has delivered over 350 projects in 15 countries, on 3 continents. The new Zitec location at Timpuri Noi Square will accommodate, in an unconventional space, a team of up to 190 software development and digital marketing specialists. In addition to the office space, the concept of the headquarters will include themed meeting rooms and common games areas where colleagues can relax with ping-pong, foosball, pinball or console games.

Alexandru Lapusan, CEO and co-founder at Zitec, said: "For Zitec, the workspace is very important. We spend a great deal of time here, so it is vital that space is relaxing and creative at the same time. The design of the meeting and relaxation rooms will incorporate elements that will cultivate the spirit of adventure and team imagination and will encourage the exploration of new horizons. We like to innovate and this will also be seen in the concept of this project."

Antoniu Panait, Managing Director at Vastint Romania, declared: "With great joy we welcome a new neighbor in Timpuri Noi Square. The first two buildings will soon be fully let. Zitec team is a leader in their segment and we appreciate that they decided to join us in Timpuri Noi Square. They share our vision and enthusiasm regarding the project and its location. We have chosen to build an innovative project, reaching 100,000 sqm leasable area in total, to offer the possibility of growth. The future belongs to those companies which choose the right environment for the majority of their employees. Competition for the best employees started and the right location close to sleeping districts and many amenities is a must. The reality is that we live in a major city with over two million inhabitants and we enjoy the chance to live and work in newly created oasis."

Timpuri Noi Square is a large mixed-use project. Construction of the first two office buildings was finalized in 2017, adding 32,600 sqm out of a planned total of up to 100,000 sqm of modern, class A office and retail space as well as 50,000 sqm of residential area. Construction works for the next office building (20,100 sqm) started in 2017.
