OTP Bank Romania signs conventions with FNGCIMM to improve Romanian farmers’ access to financing
OTP Bank Romania has signed two new conventions with the National Credit Guarantee Fund for SMEs (FNGCIMM), whereby the two institutions aim to improve the access of Romanian farmers to financing suitable for their needs, a press release shows.
“Agriculture is one of the key activity sectors for OTP Bank Romania. Through the products we develop and the partnerships that we conclude, we ensure the materiality of the projects that contribute to increasing the competitiveness in the agricultural field and to consolidating a stable climate for the Romanian agribusiness,” said Roxana Maria Hidan, SME Director, OTP Bank Romania.
The conventions address a wide range of potential beneficiaries, i.e. individuals or legal entities engaged in agricultural, vegetal, zootechnical or aquaculture activities, or private and public beneficiaries, including Local Councils, Religious Institutions, NGOs, etc., that run investment projects funded by European programs for the development of the sector, such as the National Rural Development Program 2014-2020 and the Operational Program for Fishing and Maritime Affairs 2014-2020.
