Deloitte Romania strengthens its management team by promoting five senior managers to directors
Deloitte Romania strengthens its management team by promoting five new directors in the tax, audit and assurance, financial advisory and risk advisory practices, following their significant achievements in serving clients, developing professionally their colleagues and growing the business. Formerly senior managers of Deloitte, the newly appointed leaders are Alexandra Bunea-Oprișescu, as Tax Director, Oana Nicula and Răzvan Ungureanu, as Audit and Assurance Directors, Iulia Bratu, as Corporate Finance Director, and Elena Grigore, as Risk Advisory Director.

Alexandra Bunea-Oprișescu has 11 years of experience in providing transfer pricing assistance to domestic and international clients operating in the financial service industry, as well as in the telecommunications, media, technology and manufacturing sectors. Alexandra’s areas of expertise are tax consultancy, transfer-pricing business restructuring, advance pricing arrangements, due-diligence and transfer pricing litigation. She is a certified tax consultant and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, postgraduate degree in accounting and taxation and an ADIT certificate in Transfer Pricing.
During her 12 years of experience in financial audit, Oana Nicula was responsible for coordinating projects for clients in the fields of energy, consumer business, distribution, manufacturing and retail. She is involved in audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with the Romanian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as in other projects, such as advisory services on complex accounting matters and assurance services on spin-off/merger transactions. Oana has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and she is a fellow chartered certified accountant with ACCA and member of C.A.F.R, C.E.C.C.A.R and A.S.P.A.A.S.
Răzvan Ungureanu has 11 years of experience in audit. He has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the local economic environment. He has been involved in various engagements such as agreed upon procedures, limited assurance missions, audits and reviews. Răzvan is specialized in the power and utilities, consumer products and manufacturing industries. He serves local clients and multinational companies reporting both under International Financial Reporting Standards and under Romanian Accounting Standards. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and he is a fellow charted certified accountant with ACCA. In addition, he is member of C.A.F.R., C.E.C.C.A.R. and A.S.P.A.A.S.
With an experience of 15 years in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Iulia Bratu has a strong background in coordinating complex and highly competitive M&A processes for companies belonging to a wide range of industries such as energy, retail, pharma and financial services. She is one of the most respected experts among M&A advisers, as shown by the Mergermarket ranking. During her career, she contributed to the success of landmark transactions such as the sale of Fabryo to Akzo Nobel NV, the sale of Farmexim and Help Net to Phoenix, the sale of Animax to TRG and the sale of E.ON and OMV Petrom stakes in gas distribution company Congaz to GDF Suez.
Elena Grigore has 11 years of experience in credit risk and regulatory requirements in the banking industry. She supervised the development and review of IFRS 9 methodologies for banks in Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria and the development, testing and validation for various internal models for advanced internal models. She contributed to the implementation of Basel III for banks in Moldova and coordinated the development of the Business Model tool for the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia. Elena has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in applied statistics and optimization.
