Aston Martin launches DBX SUV in Romania
After the official unveiling in November 20, Aston Martin DBX – the company’s first SUV – was launched today in Romania at the Aston Martin showroom in Otopeni, near Bucharest.
The new model is expected to propel the brand to new heights worldwide. DBX signals a new era in Aston Martin’s pursuit to deliver competitiveness in a segment previously unexplored by the world-famous manufacturer.
DBX is set to be built in Aston Martin’s purpose-built manufacturing facility in St Athan, Wales.
Powered by a new version of the 4-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine found in DB11 and Vantage, DBX features an output of 550PS and 700NM of torque, The turbocharged V8 has cylinder deactivation to enhance fuel economy, yet it can also propel DBX from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 291 km/h.
Aston Martin DBX has a price of around 200,000 Euro (VAT included) in Romania, with first global deliveries scheduled to begin Q2 2020.
