Digi surpasses two million ported numbers threshold for its mobile network

The Digi Mobil network has exceeded the threshold of two million mobile phone numbers ported since October 2008, when the service was launched in Romania, according to statistics from the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM).

With 2,033,468 ported mobile numbers, the Digi Mobil network remains the main destination in the segment of mobile electronic communications in Romania. During the same period, the fixed network attracted over 258,000 numbers, with Digi also being the preferred operator for porting users. In total, 2,291,536 fixed and mobile telephone numbers came by porting in the Digi network, during the 11 years of existence of the portability service, according to the data presented by the regulatory authority.
