Coronavirus: Romanian Minister says schools will stay closed until after Easter

Schools will remain closed throughout the period the state of emergency is in place, education minister Monica Anisie announced.
“For the time being, we do not have a date for the schools’ closure period but throughout the state of emergency period schools will remain closed. It is clear schools will remain closed throughout this period. Schools are closed until after Easter,” Anisie said.
The authorities initially announced that schools would be closed until March 22, Romania Insider reads. The school Easter holiday is set for April 4 – April 21.
Meanwhile, the public television TVR has started broadcasting the educational show “Telescoala” (Tele-school) on March 16.
