Alexandrion Group applies protection measures against the spread of COVID-19
Alexandrion Group has aligned its strategy with all government proposed measures to ensure the prevention of exposure to the new COVID-19 and help contain the spread. The protection measures are applied both in the production facilities and processes as well as within the employee’s community of the Group.
Both national and international context given by the COVID-19 pandemic is at the base of the implemented measures focused on limiting the spread of the virus’s effects and protecting both the Group’s employees and consumers.
Within the Alexandrion Group, at the level of production facilities (Alexandrion Distilleries and THE ICONIC ESTATE Winery), all proposed guidelines of Health Organizations and government authorities for limiting the COVID-19 spread are strictly adhered to. Consumers’ health while maintaining the highest quality of Alexandrion Group products remain our top priorities for the Group.
Moreover, the Group has taken care of all the employees carrying out their activities in maximum safety conditions and where possible, resuming their activity through “work from home” platforms. All business trips have been cancelled or postponed in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as all immediate future events that the Group was intending to launch or sponsor, whether they were developed under the aegis of the Alexandrion Foundation (such as the cancellation of the Sinaia Debates, the 4th edition), or under the umbrella of Alexandrion Group.
Alexandrion Group is leader in the production and distribution of wines and spirits in Romania and since 2017, the only single malt producer in the country. The group is made up of Alexandrion Distilleries and SABER 1789 Distilleries, which together have a history of over 200 years in the local spirits industry.
