ENGIE Romania supports first line healthcare professionals and patients affected by the new coronavirus with a financial contribution of 250,000 Euro, which will be directed to several organizations: Romanian National Red Cross Society, Dăruiește Viață and HOSPICE Casa Speranței.
The funds directed to the National Red Cross Society of Romania and Dăruiește Viață, in the amount of 100,000 euros each, will be used for the purchase of equipment for medical professionals, as well as ventilation devices or materials of strict necessity to patients confirmed with COVID-19. Another 50,000 Euro are allocated for the care of patients with oncological diseases, discharged from hospitals intended exclusively for patients with COVID-19 and for which HOSPICE Casa Speranței remains an alternative for the continuation of their treatment
“Solidarity is very important, especially in critical periods such as this one which we are currently experiencing. We thank all those who are in the front line today and help us all to overcome this difficult challenge. We can do little alone, but much more together,” said Eric Stab, President General Manager ENGIE Romania.
