Connect44 expands and leases a total of 1,000 square meters in Vox Technology Park

Connect44 Romania rented a total of 1,000 square meters of office space in Vox Technology Park Timisoara. The expansion of an additional 750 square meters was signed in March, the contract being valid for five years, with the option to extend the lease period.

Connect44, which operates in the field of telecommunications engineering, will thus open their second regional office in Timisoara. The company, founded in Switzerland, entered the local market in 2017 and is headquartered in AFI Tech Park in Bucharest.

“A clear goal of Connect44 Romania for 2020 continues to be expansion. That is why this year we are focusing on a significant increase in both services and the team. In the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted to the situation and developed the IT infrastructure that will allow our employees to work remotely. Thus, in all our offices worldwide, employees work remotely, from the safety of their own homes. At the same time, simultaneously with the relaxation of the measures imposed by the authorities, we offer our colleagues the opportunity to return to the office, in increased hygiene conditions,” stated Alexandru Cociorvei, General Manager of Connect44 Romania.

In the past few weeks, Vox Technology Park has implemented a series of precautionary measures for the return of the tenants to the building, after the end of the State of Emergency. Two thermal scanners were purchased and installed at the entrances, which automatically measure the temperature of employees and visitors, air cleaning and filtering devices (nebulizers), antiseptic carpets, paper dispensers and sensor-based disinfectants were installed and traffic flows inside the building were redesigned.

Vox Technology Park has a leasable area of 26,600 square meters and was completed in Timisoara following an investment of 30 million Euro.
