Adrian Pavelescu, Tinmar Energy: “It is quite difficult to be a supplier in this volatile period of the pandemic”
“The energy supplier integrates some services, it is not a simple intermediary as it was said in the past. It is quite difficult to be a supplier in this volatile period of the pandemic. Cash is very expensive and very hard to find. The pandemic took us by surprise, we took all the protective measures for employees, we tried to implement as many digitization projects as possible. The IT teams lived up to expectations, 80% of the staff is working from home,” Adrian Pavelescu, Deputy General Manager, Tinmar Energy said during the Energy CEO Forum 2020, organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“We do not know what the future holds, we try to protect ourselves from market volatility. We want more understanding from the legislator. There are problems with legislation. We had great support from consumers, we did not have clients who refused to pay bills during this period. We want to invest, we want to develop photovoltaic parks and we are waiting for the Green Deal to make our plans for the future,” he concluded.
