Ondrej Safar, CEZ Romania: “We will fulfill the investment plan for 2020 despite of all the problems”
“When we were going to conferences prior to this situation, we were talking about our priorities like customer satisfaction, digitalization and when COVID came all of this just went aside for a short period. We got back to the core of our activity and that was to make sure we are supplying electricity to all the critical places like hospitals and making sure we are supplying to our customers,” Ondrej Safar, Country Manager for Romania, CEZ Group said during the Energy CEO Forum 2020, organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“We moved everyone home from the offices in short time and for those which are in the field we had to make sure they are properly equipped with safety gear. We had to find solutions for our customers which were affected, to help them with the postponement of the payments and trying to overcome this period,” he explained.
“It was very important in this period to keep us working, to keep our partners working in a safely manner. We are keeping the investment plan, we are slightly ahead of schedule this year, so we will fulfill the investment plan for 2020 despite of all the problems.”
