Luiza Muller, Orange Romania: “We equipped our managers with a guide of recommendations on how to plan a meeting, how to pay attention to the way that people are behaving”
“In companies like Orange the informal communication is a way that helps employees to stay connected and updated to what is happening in their teams and at company level. We equipped our managers with a guide of recommendations on how to plan a meeting, how to keep breaks during an online meeting, how to pay attention to the way that people are behaving,” Luiza Muller, HR Director, Orange Romania said during the web conference Workplace of the future powered by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“We have changed the concept of flexible hours because our employees needed more flexibility. Communication was key,” she explained. “We just implemented the first chatbot in HR using a local company Druid. We are working with them since last year and this chatbot is helping our employees in getting certificates, changing the medical policies, the medical provider. Speaking about Orange Fab, it is something that we launched years ago and it’s a one-year startup accelerator, conceived to support entrepreneurs in developing innovative products. We are helping these startups to further develop their products and to find the right local or international market for them to sell this products they have. We are very keen to attract small startups and to make them grow together with us.”
