Hornbach continues its expansion in Romania, inaugurates new store in Oradea following an investment of 28.5 million Euro

Hornbach, one of the main local retailers of construction materials and gardening, expands its network in Romania and announces the inauguration of its seventh store, following an investment of 28.5 million Euro in Oradea.

“We are glad that, despite the economic context generated by the pandemic crisis, we will be able to open the seventh store in the Hornbach network in Romania. The total investment is 28.5 million Euro, an amount that also includes the initial stock of goods. With this store opening, Hornbach’s total investments in Romania amount to 175.2 million Euro,” said Mugurel-Horia Rusu, General Manager of Hornbach Romania.

The store in Oradea is located on a plot of 5.4 hectares, has an area of ​​about 23,000 square meters and includes a Drive In for building materials, where customers can enter by car and directly load the desired products, an area dedicated to items garden and pets, but also departments with electrical products, building materials, hardware, ceramic wall and floor tiles, interior decorations, a picture framing center and a paint mixer and an exhibition of items for the bathroom.
