Electric mobility opens new paths to a green future
One of the strongest global trends in recent years is the accelerated transition to electric mobility solutions. Climate change and the impact of greenhouse gas emissions, including the use of fossil fuels in transport (public, commercial, personal), have led to a major change in terms of car mobility.
In the transition of companies to a neutral impact on the environment, electric mobility is one of the trends that are currently reshaping surface transport. An important role in the development of electric mobility, which is on a strong upward trend in recent years, is played by electric vehicles. One of the most important strategic decisions in the automotive industry has been to produce green vehicles, culminating in innovations in the field of cars powered by hybrid systems, hydrogen batteries and cars with 100% electric propulsion. In fact, electric vehicles are considered to be the true pioneers of a new era of mobility.
Electric mobility contributes to a cleaner future for the planet, sustainable business, and significant energy savings. Car manufacturers are now challenged to rethink the process of building vehicles, with an emphasis on increasing performance and, at the same time, increasing energy efficiency. The design of recent technologies is closely linked to the creation of intelligent energy networks, which should become the primary source of power for electric vehicles.
The transition to a clean fleet is a first step in building a green future for urban mobility. Converting companies’ car fleets significantly reduces carbon emissions and air pollution. In the context of high traffic and increasingly worrying air quality, solutions consist of alternative technologies offered by electric or hybrid cars, thus reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
ENGIE e-XPLORE Business, the integrated electric mobility solution from ENGIE Romania
In the context of accelerating the transition to energy sources with minimal impact on the environment and the increasing use of renewable energy technologies, incorporating green solutions into a business model can reduce operational costs and reduce the carbon footprint. More and more consumers are choosing the transition to carbon neutrality, and ENGIE Romania is supporting them in this endeavour.
As a sustainable alternative to conventional fuels, ENGIE offers its customers complete e-mobility solutions. With the integrated electric mobility solution, ENGIE e-XPLORE Business, customers benefit from multiple advantages in the process of transition to a clean fleet: from consulting and initial planning, to the provision of charging stations, installation, maintenance, continuous infrastructure management, monitoring digital activity and the supply of electricity, from renewable sources, suitable for their business.
ENGIE Romania and Mercedes-Benz, a partnership to encourage electric mobility
Concern for the environment and for limiting the effects of climate change was the starting point of the national partnership between ENGIE Romania and Mercedes-Benz.
The partnership welcomes Mercedes-Benz customers who choose to purchase the EQC model and who want to have their own charging station at home. For them, the two companies provide an offer available until the end of the year, which consists in offering an Elvi charging station, produced by EVBox, a company from the ENGIE group, world leader in the production of charging stations for electric vehicles.
Mercedes-Benz EQC customers can also choose, in addition to the Elvi EVBox charging station received as gift, an e-mobility service subscription, by concluding a contract for the supply of electricity from renewable sources. In this way, they can enjoy technical assistance from the ENGIE team, online monitoring for the charges made and access to an e-charge network at national level, thus ensuring the charging of electric vehicles in the public space.
