BCR signed a syndicated loan of 51 million Euro for Romanian group Pehart Tec
Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) acted as coordinator for a syndicated loan worth 51 million Euro granted to Pehart Tec Group, the largest producer of industrial paper rolls in Southeast Europe and the largest converter of household paper products in Romania, owned by Abris Capital Partners.
The financing will be used in the development of the company’s two factories in Petresti (Alba County) and Dej (Cluj County). In these two locations, Pehart intends to build new facilities for paper production, increase the converting area, invest in state-of-the-art equipment to increase production and develop the portfolio with new products; thus, the company will create new jobs for the local communities in the two cities.
“Our development plans include investing 20 million Euro over three years, through a strong partnership with the banks that facilitated the loan.
