Romanian frozen foods distributor Macromex uses Schneider Electric solutions for new distribution centre near Bucharest

Schneider Electric Romania provided Data Center solutions that serve critical IT&C systems and robotic infrastructure in the most modern distribution centre of the Macromex company. With a history of over 25 years, Macromex is the leader in the food industry, in the segment of frozen and refrigerated products, being a 100% Romanian company, which has two distribution centres and 12 other cross-docking points.

For the Data Center of the Corso Distribution Center in Chitila – turnkey project – Schneider Electric Romania took care of the design, supply of equipment and technical solutions, as well as the provision of installation services, made together with the authorized partner, Innova Engineering SRL. The solution was designed based on the customer’s needs to have a Data Center that can guarantee a high availability of critical IT&C equipment, which ensures, among other things, the control of robotic installations.

Also, the solutions provided within the new Macromex Data Center have been designed to ensure high energy efficiency, continuous monitoring, and low costs throughout their operating life.
