Iuliu Stocklosa is the new president of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry has appointed Iuliu Stocklosa as president for the next term. The new president of the Bucharest Chamber has a solid entrepreneurial experience.
In 1990 he founded East Electric, a member of the Chamber of Commerce since its inception. East Electric operates mainly in the field of research-development and automation and over time has carried out projects in automotive, metallurgical industry, transport, chemical and petrochemical industry, food industry, energy sector, for beneficiaries in the country and abroad (France, Algeria, Morocco, Turkey and Russia).
Iuliu Stocklosa is also involved in the management of other assets in the fields of railway infrastructure production in Arad, port activities in Sulina and tourism in the Danube Delta.
In terms of chamber experience, since 2008, Iuliu Stocklosa has been vice-president of the CCIB and a member of the Board of Directors, a position in which he has led numerous economic missions, especially in the Maghreb, Central Asia, the Middle East and the Far East.
Since 2013 he coordinates the representation of the Bucharest Chamber in Tangier (Kingdom of Morocco), which offers integrated services (consultancy, assistance, studies, analysis, promotion on the local market, etc.) to Romanian companies interested in developing in the Maghreb region, but also to local ones find Romanian partners. Since July 2020, he is the honorary consul of the Kyrgyz Republic, head of the consular office having as consular district the entire territory of Romania.
