Utku Ogrendil has been appointed CEO of PayPoint Romania
Utku Ogrendil has been appointed CEO of PayPoint Romania. He will focus on strengthening the company’s position locally, with a focus on innovation, a release shows. The appointment of Utku Ogrendil as CEO of the company is made after the private equity fund Innova Capital took over the entire assets and operations of PayPoint Services SRL.
The new CEO of PayPoint Romania studied business administration at the University of Hartford. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial-banking industry and has held, over time, management positions in important banking institutions.

PayPoint Romania reported gross assets of £48.5 million at the end of March 2020.
Through its over 19,000 terminals located throughout the country and partnerships with over 210 providers of telecommunications, utilities, transportation and financial services, the company collects over 100 million bill payments for 85% of Romanian providers of utilities and telecommunications. PayPoint Romania also offers top-up and money transfer services and allows payment by credit or debit card.
