Andreea Negru, Romgaz: “A well-made sustainability report brings you added value in terms of benefits and opportunities”
“Romgaz has been publishing sustainability reports for several years, and this is an advantage for us. Because we are a listed company, we had to have standards perhaps even higher than other companies that were not required to publish this type of reports,” Andreea Negru, Spokesperson, Romgaz said during Sustainability in Business Forum organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.
“Legislation changes frequently in the energy sector and we have to face challenges. From the perspective of the new European directive, I do not think we will have problems with the sustainability report given the high standards we currently have. We are currently preparing the latest sustainability report.
For Romgaz, sustainability also has a component of giving something back to the community we belong to. Our HQ is in Medias and we support the development of the city through the taxes we pay to the local budget.
A well-made sustainability report brings you added value in terms of benefits and opportunities. Investors appreciate such initiatives because they can get a better picture of the company’s activity.”
