Orange Romania reports turnover of 273 million Euro in Q3
Between July and September, Orange Romania achieved a turnover of 273 million Euro, similar to the same period last year. At the same time, there was an increase in services revenues due to the increase in the customer base compared to the same period of the previous year, despite the unfavorable global context caused by the lack of equipment stocks.

Thus, two communication infrastructures are brought together, as well as teams with expertise in terms of the quality of fixed and mobile networks in Romania, so that Romanians have access, in the future, to a complete offer of fixed convergent services. mobile and TV.
The development of the network and its maintenance at optimal operating parameters to support the smooth running of business and customer lives remained a constant concern in the third quarter of 2021. During the first 9 months of 2021, Orange expanded with the 4G network in 243 localities and with the 4G + network in 1271 localities. The Orange 5G network became available in Q3 to customers in Craiova, being present today in cities such as Brasov, Bucharest (100 percent covered), Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi, Timisoara, but also in localities in Ilfov County, mountain and summer resorts.

Thus, the cyber security solutions experienced an increase of 53 percent, and those of cloud and equipment colocation of 29 percent.
“The enthusiasm and ambition with which we started the current year did not fade during 2021, a year still marked by a lot of uncertainty and fragility. Maintaining the quality of the Orange network to the highest standards has been a priority, and our efforts have been recognized by customers, who have given us their trust in choosing our services, and have been reconfirmed by Ookla® and ANCOM. Thus, we proved once again that we are the #1 network on the local market. (…) We are very proud to have completed the transaction of acquiring the majority stake of 54 percent of Telekom Romania Communications shares, with the main objective of being the first choice in the convergent services market in Romania. Together with our new colleagues we form a stronger and more numerous team and together we aim to deliver to customers the services and products of the best quality,” said Liudmila Climoc, CEO of Orange Romania.
