Caroli Foods Group signs deal with Globalworth for 6,800 sqm in Pitesti Industrial Park
Caroli Foods Group, the market leader in meat products, with a factory in Pitesti, partners with Globalworth in Pitesti Industrial Park. The area of the warehouse that will serve Caroli Foods Group is approximately 6,800 square meters and the lease agreement was signed for 10 years.
“We are honoured that a leading company in its industry has chosen us to build its central warehouse in Romania. In addition to the storage spaces, we also provided the arrangement of the spaces with temperature-controlled areas, a direction in which Globalworth Industrial began to develop more and more. We have both refrigerated areas (with a controlled temperature of 0/5 degrees Celsius) and frozen areas (with a controlled temperature between minus 22 and minus 24 degrees Celsius). The lease period signed for the next 10 years represents the trust that the partner has given us and we, in turn, assure them that all our efforts will be directed towards the continuation and consolidation of this valuable partnership. We thank Caroli Foods Group team and welcome them to the Globalworth Industrial community. We are glad to have them here”, stated Mihai Zaharia, Globalworth Romania Head of Investments and Globalworth Group Capital Markets Director.
“Following our constant development in Romania, we aim at efficiently addressing higher customer demands, by investing in a new and modern logistics hub. Thus, we shall improve our operations’ competitiveness and extend our existing logistics basis with a state-of-the-art new warehouse, nearby our production facilities in Pitesti, with the support of our partners – Globalworth Industrial. In addition, we shall increase our storage capacity for frozen raw materials, in temperature-controlled spaces. The new hub’s activity will be integrated with our overall logistics activity, so our fleet routes to be efficiently planned and executed, and our products to more rapidly arrive to our customers”, added Roxana Manolescu, Caroli Foods Group CEO.
The project will be delivered at the beginning of 2022.
Currently, the portfolio of Globalworth Industrial, Globalworth’s logistics and light industry sub-brand, covers an area of over 261,000 square meters, with an occupancy rate of over 95%, in different areas of Romania, such as Arad, Bucharest, Constanta, Oradea, Pitesti and Timisoara.
