Orange Romania completes the Orange Romania Communications transition to the Orange brand
On March 28, 2022, Orange Romania Communications concludes the transition process to the Orange brand for all its products and services. From Monday, customers will discover a new design of Orange Romania Communications stores and the applications they were used to. They will also have access to the first joint offer of fixed-mobile services, Orange and Orange Romania Communications. At the same time, Orange Business Services becomes one of the most important data center service providers in Romania, by joining Orange Romania Communications resources.
On September 30, 2021, Orange completed the acquisition of the majority stake of 54% of the shares of Telekom Romania Communications, renamed Orange Romania Communications. 6 months after the transaction, the two companies mark several important steps in order to complete the transition of the fixed service operator to the Orange brand and to offer customers a unified experience.
Business customers will have access to a wider portfolio of smart city, cloud and cybersecurity solutions, as well as an extensive team of IT&C specialists and consultants.
For sports enthusiasts, the Orange and Orange Romania Communications TV grids will soon include the Orange 1, 2, 3 and 4 sports programs. Thus, they will be able to watch the most important sports shows and competitions on smart TV, phone or tablet. football (UEFA Champions League, League 1, League 2 and Romanian Cup, La Liga and Serie A), basketball (NBA), handball (EHF Champions League, European Cup women and men), rugby (6 Nations) and Formula 1.
