FEL Awards Gala 2021 awarded 9 best young people and teams for the results achieved in 2021 in energy sector

Future Energy Leaders (FEL) Romania, the youth program of the Romanian National Committee of the World Energy Council (CNR-CME), marked 10 years of activity in Romania by highlighting the most impactful results of the young generation.

At the largest leadership conference in Romania for young people in energy, the merits of young people, their teams and the organizations that support them and lead them to achieving exceptional professional results were recognized. On the stage of the event were exposed by special guests, representatives from the institutional level and decision makers from the energy industry, their expectations from the younger generation, topics of interest with and about young people in energy were debated, 9 young people and teams who achieved exceptional professional results in 202 1were awarded. Also, the gala recognized the merits of the people who contributed to the 10-year history of Future Energy Leaders in Romania.

The event had special guests such as: • Ștefan GHEORGHE, Executive General Director of CNR-CME; • Dan DRĂGAN – Adviser to the Minister, Ministry of Energy; • Anca DRAGU – President, Commission for Human Rights, Equal Opportunities, Cults and Minorities, Romanian Senate, Romanian Parliament; • Istvan Lorant ANTAL – President, Energy Commission, Romanian Senate, Romanian Parliament; • Sandor BENDE – President, Committee on Industries and Services, Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of Romania; • Silvia VLĂSCEANU – Executive Director, HENRO – Electricity Producers Association; • Niculae HAVRILEȚ, Vice President of Relations with the Governmental and Institutional Environment – Romanian Energy Center (CRE).

Out of the total of 28 nominations submitted by companies and organizations, the prestigious jury decided the 9 winners:

• Bogdan Rosca, MET Romania – Manager of the year in the field of energy
• Marius Eremia Soflete, Soflete Online – The young energy specialist
• Rareș Sinca, CIGA Energy – Digitization – Digital project of the year
• Mihai Marcolt, CNTEE Transelectrica – Innovation – Outstanding contributions in an innovative project
• Adrian Vintila, CEZ Sale – Energy Efficiency
• Ancuța Maria Cirstea, E.ON Romania – Sustainable financing
• Loredana Modoran, ENGIE Romania – CSR
• Florin Raducanu, Oltenia Distribution – Customer experience program
• Vlăduț Iordan, SN Nuclearelectrica – Development programs

FEL Awards Gala 2021 was a source of motivation and inspiration for young people, discussing ways to create skills and competencies, as well as what opportunities are for those at the beginning of the road, along with 7 top young people in the energy industry: • Cosmin GHIȚĂ – Director of the Digitization and Innovation Department, Oltenia Distribution; • Mihai MARCOLȚ – Head of Innovation Research Service, CNTEE Transelectrica; • Vlăduț IORDAN – Engineer CN, SSMSU, SN Nuclearelectrica; • Rareș HURGHIȘ – Strategy Expert, ENGIE Romania; • Ancuța Maria CÎRSTEA – European Funds Manager, E.ON Romania; • Cristian IONESCU – Head of Advisory, Ciga Energy; • Cătălin LĂZĂROIU – Power Acquisition Expert, MET Romania Energy.
