“The equipment for which we will start the modernization works was put into operation about approx. 40 years, so that their technological level corresponds to the capacity of the Romanian industry of those times. In addition, since their commissioning, they have had a number of shortcomings which have required frequent repairs. It is obvious that we need to intervene to bring these stations to the level of current technical and safety rigors. We strictly follow the annual modernization plans we have proposed, and we work to bring in the optimal operating parameters of as many objectives belonging to the company,” said Bogdan Badea, President of Hidroelectrica.
