NTT DATA Romania reports turnover of 86 million Euro, up by 15 percent in 2021
NTT DATA Romania, one of the most important players on the IT market in the country, part of the Japanese concern NTT DATA, reported for the financial year 2021 a turnover of 86 million euros, increasing by almost 15 percent compared to the previous year.
“In the current unpredictable geopolitical and economic context, we start from the consideration that the year 2022 will be a successful one for our company. The strategy we set out on a year ago aims to simplify and automate processes as well as specialize teams. We have implemented an inside-out approach, focused on encouraging a culture of collaboration, autonomy, and accountability, designed to increase the quality of organizational life,” said Maria Metz, CEO of NTT DATA Romania.
The year 2021 meant for NTT DATA Romania the year of integration in the new operational company defined for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America (NTT DATA EMEAL). NTT DATA EMEAL has a turnover of 3 billion euros and has reached over 46,000 employees in 25 countries. NTT DATA EMEAL had a growth rate twice the market average, with significant increases in market share in both Europe and Latin America.
Locally, to support the ambitious objectives, the company has launched large-scale projects investing 5 million Euro both in increasing the quality of organizational life and in business plans. These projects were based on an organizational diagnosis that defined the subsequent actions: invested in the workspaces of Brasov, Sibiu and Novi Sad, a coaching school was established to support managerial activity and invested in developing team skills of specialists, in the formation of multidisciplinary teams and in the modernization of the infrastructure.
