Alexandrion Group expands global top management team with six new members
Alexandrion Group, the biggest producer and distributor of spirits and wines in Romania, announces the expansion of its global management team with six new members that will coordinate the activity of the commercial, marketing, retail and treasury & investments departments, as well as the activity of the group’s local branches in Cyprus and Turkey.

Thus, four professionals with international experience in marketing, sales and finance spanning over more than two decades have joined the Alexandrion Group’s top management team.
Nicolas Guillant has joined the Alexandrion Group’s top management team as the new Global Chief Commercial Officer, reporting directly to the Founding Chairman of the group, Dr. Nawaf Samaleh. His role is primarily concerned with ensuring the integrated commercial success of the organization closely linked to strategic management function, in drafting, implementing and evaluating cross-functional decisions that will enable Alexandrion Group to achieve its long-term objectives. Alexandrion Group has more than 50 companies worldwide, which are now subordinated to Nicolas with regards to commercial activities relating to marketing, sales, product development and customer service to drive business growth and market share. Nicolas Guillant has more than 27 years of professional experience with a demonstrated history of working in the wine and spirits industry across the Americas and Europe.
Rob Curteis was coopted into the Alexandrion Group’s top management team in the Global Chief Marketing Officer role. He is working closely with the Founding Chairman of the Alexandrion Group, Dr. Nawaf Salameh and is responsible for reviewing, developing, implementing and managing new marketing strategies and leading the group’s marketing team by example. He will supervise the activity of the Marketing and Trade Marketing departments, as well as that of the Brand Ambassadors appointed to promote the spirits from the Alexandrion Group’s portfolio. Rob has almost 20 years of marketing experience, having successfully operated at Executive Committee level.
Gabriela Amado Boix Marti is the new Global Chief Treasury and Investment Officer of the Alexandrion Group reporting directly to the Founding Chairman of the group, Dr. Nawaf Salameh. Gabriela has over 20 years of experience across most functions in the financial services industry. She brings to the group valuable expertise in financing arrangements in multiple jurisdictions and extensive experience managing cross-border funding and complex direct and indirect investment structures. Her pan-European financing expertise and in-depth knowledge of important consumer markets will contribute to the group’s long-term business strategy.
Philip Williams is now part of the Alexandrion Group’s top management team in the position of Global Head of Retail Director, working directly with the Global Chief Commercial Officer, Nicolas Guillant. Philip’s role is to lead the development and expasion of the Alexandrion Experience stores and to lead the sales function for High-End Horeca, with the purpose of helping the group achieve its revenue target and strategic goals. He has 24 years of professional experience, being a successful sales and marketing professional with a wealth of experience, gained across a wide variety of channels and roles, in the United Kingdom and Middle East.
Also, two directors with remarkable professional track records within the Alexandrion Group have been promoted to country manager positions.
With more than 17 years of professional experience, out of which almost 16 years with the Alexandrion Group, Dana Titrat has been promoted from Regional Sales Director for Romania to Turkey Country Manager. She is now responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the private and public sectors, working to establish cross sector collaborations.
Dragoș Plopeanu has been promoted from Regional Export Director to Cyprus Country Manager.
From this position Dragoş Plopeanu will lead all operations to ensure the profitability of the company’s affiliate, Cavaway, one of the main importers and distributors of spirits and wines in Cyprus. Dragoș is a seasoned professional with more than 16 years of professional experience, out of which 8 years with the Alexandrion Group, during which he acquired significant sales management and business development expertise, with great results in sales strategy implementation, as well as market expansion and strategic revenue increase, proving good networking skills and the ability to easily adjust to various cultures.
Both Dana Titrat and Dragos Plopeanu report to the Global Chief Commercial Officer, Nicolas Guillant.
