The Romanian Association of Banks has a new Board of Directors
The General Assembly of the Romanian Association of Banks (ARB) convened in the meeting of January 10, 2023, voted on the new composition of the Board of Directors following the filling of a vacant member position.
The leadership of the Board of Directors of ARB is provided by Bogdan Neacșu (President), Gabriela Nistor (Vice President), Mihaela Bitu, Ion Stan, Cristian Agalopol and Cornel Stănescu, elected as members, to whom Mircea Busuioceanu will be added as of today.
The Board of Directors is the deliberative and decision-making body of the Association, the term of office of the members being three years. Radu Ghetea holds the position of Honorary President of the Romanian Association of Banks. Executive management is provided by the Executive President, Florin Danescu.
The Romanian Association of Banks represents the banking market in Romania for 32 years and has expanded by including 11 affiliated members, non-banking companies, thus laying the foundations of a partnership that contributes to the consolidation of a predictable, transparent and reliable business environment in Romania. Increasing the degree of financial and digital education in Romania, supporting digitization, increasing financial intermediation on a sustainable basis, strengthening the financial platform and European representation represent the priority directions of action of ARB.
