OTP Bank to support Romanian entrepreneurs in 2023 through the IMM Invest Plus program
This year, OTP Bank continues to support entrepreneurs in Romania through the partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises Support Program – IMM Invest PLUS. SMEs, including those with mid-market capitalization and start-ups, as well as those in the field of agriculture, fishing, aquaculture, and the food sector, will be able to secure the necessary liquidity for running current activities or for investments.
The maximum amount of loans granted can be up to 10,000,000 RON for investments (except for beneficiaries in the field of basic agriculture, aquaculture, and fish farming, for which the maximum amount of funding is 5,000,000 RON) and up to 5,000,000 RON for working capital, with the exception for the beneficiaries in the sugar beet processing industry, who can access loans for working capital up to 10,000,000 RON.
“Supporting entrepreneurs and the entire SME sector is very important for the health and good development of the local economy as a whole, especially in the current climate, where the need for financing has increased. I welcome the extension of IMM Invest Plus and I am glad that in 2023, the program also comes with additional advantages, which will lead to an increase in the number of beneficiaries. For OTP Bank, the decision to partner up again with IMM Invest Plus program came naturally, given that sustaining the entrepreneurial environment is an important pillar of our business vision”, said Roxana Hidan, DCEO Business Division, OTP Bank Romania.
Interested customers can access the official website www.iminvest.ro, check the component related to the IMM Invest PLUS Program, the Guarantee Fund and select OTP Bank Romania as the financing bank. Later, after obtaining the principial agreement from FNGCIMM, FGCR and FRC, the Bank will take over the requests and after the internal analysis and approval (depending on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria), will request allocated guarantee from the related Guarantee Fund.
