Vestra invests 380,000 euros in autonomous metrology stands
Vestra, Romanian company with over 25 years of experience in the utilities and automation equipment industry, consolidates its portfolio on the Romanian market by purchasing metrological stands, following an investment of over 300,000 euros.
The autonomous metrology stand is used both for the verification of cold or hot water meters, as well as for checking the thermal energy used in the fiscal field (meters based on which consumption for end users is invoiced).
It can measure debts of several litres per hour, offering, at the same time, extremely accurate data, compared to most of the ordinary installations that measure the debts of tens or hundreds of litres, their results being easily influenced by various factors. Also, the installation is fully automatic, and the verification operation is performed only with a minimum intervention. Thus, based on the measured data, the bulletins are issued automatically, taking over the entire logistical activity. Finally, the software system does not allow to change the results of the verification process, which ensures data accuracy and eliminates human errors.
“In the context of an effervescent evolution on the utilities and automation equipment market in recent years, as well as our growth estimates for 2023, investment plans aim to continue the development of our portfolio by contracting new projects, but also through investments focused on the purchase of equipment of automation for smart cities. In line with the company’s development strategy, we purchased four metrological verification stands that we located at the Vesta headquarters in Catamaresti-Deal, Botosani county. The purchased installation is automatic, the only intervention taking place only when mounting and dismantling the meters on the installation,” says Vlad Iftime, Managing Partner Vestra.
