Holcim Romania expands its aggregates division by acquiring Stones Business Development SRL, one of the main aggregates providers for the Bucharest-Ilfov area, the operator of Salcioara aggregates plant. The acquisition of the aggregates plant has received the approval of the Competition Council and the transaction was finalized on March 31, 2023.

Stones Business Development SRL, operating Salcioara aggregates plant, is one of the most important players in the aggregates segment in the Bucharest-Ilfov area, having 30 employees.
Holcim Romania owns other three aggregate plants located in Stancesti, Gligoresti and Corbii Mari. The integration of Salcioara aggregates plant into Holcim’s operations will be carried out immediately after the takeover of the company.
